WARSAW, June 12 (Reuters) - Poland will extend a VAT cut and maximum pricing for fuel, but will not extend a cut in excise duty, state news agency PAP reported on Friday, citing a source close to the Finance Ministry.

The report came after an entry in the Polish government's journal of laws showed measures capping fuel prices would be extended until the end of June.

In March the government announced VAT on fuel would fall to 8% from 23%, while excise duty would be cut to the EU minimum - 0.29 zloty ($0.08) per litre for petrol and 0.28 zloty for diesel.
