Tesla new car sales in Italy down 23.5% year-on-year in May
MILAN, June 1 (Reuters) - Tesla's new car registrations in Italy fell 23.5% in May compared with the same month of 2025, data from the Italian transport ministry showed on Monday.
The U.S. electric vehicles maker sold 654 cars in the country last month, accounting for a market share of around 0.44%.
Despite the May decline, Tesla registrations were still up 15.2% in the first five months of this year compared to the same period of 2025.
In the January-May period the company sold 5,495 new vehicles in Italy, for a market share of around 0.7%.
