Rougier specializes in harvesting, processing, and distributing tropical woods. The group's activity is organized primarily into 2 areas:
- operating of forest concessions: 2.1 million hectares operated in Gabon, Cameroon, and Congo;
- production, processing and sale of wood : logs, sheets and boards. At the end of 2011, Rougier had 8 sawmills located in the Congo Basin.
Net sales break down by product family as follows: logs (52%), boards (25.2%) and sheets (22.8%).
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Europe (60.2%), Asia (24.3%), Africa (6.3%), America (2.7%) and other (6.5%).
