Veidekke ASA
Veidekke has been awarded a contract by Base Bolig and Bori BBL to construct the
second phase of the Eikeparken residential development at Kristianslyst in
Stavanger. The project comprises 38 apartments distributed across two
residential buildings. The contract is a design and build agreement valued at
NOK 109 million excluding VAT.
"We greatly appreciate Base and Bori once again placing their trust in us and
choosing to continue our collaboration on Eikeparken. This is a project offering
high-quality living standards in an attractive location, and it aligns well with
our strategic focus on residential construction in Rogaland," says Bendik
Aarstad, District Manager at Veidekke Bygg Rogaland.
"Moving ahead with the next construction phase at this point allows us to
benefit from the experience, collaboration and continuity established through
the work already underway on the site. This provides a strong foundation for
efficient project execution and a high-quality end result," Aarstad adds.
Eikeparken is situated in a quiet and secluded area of Kristianslyst, within
close proximity to the bus rapid transit route, schools, sports facilities and
green recreational areas. The apartments will range in size from 44 to 125
square metres and will be distributed between two buildings of four and five
storeys, respectively. Residents will have access to shared fitness facilities
as well as a guest apartment for overnight visitors.
"We continue to experience strong interest in Eikeparken, and it is very
positive to be taking the next step in the development of the area. The project
offers an attractive combination of a central location, proximity to green
surroundings and high-quality shared amenities that we know will appeal to a
broad range of homebuyers," says Rune Bertelsen, Property Developer at Base.
Demolition works are scheduled to commence this autumn, enabling construction to
begin in the first quarter of 2027. The apartments are expected to be handed
over to buyers during the summer of 2028. Read more about the project here.
