DNB Carnegie extends Ayfie Index contract and expands AI strategy with Ayfie
12 Jun 2026 08:55 CEST
Issuer
Ayfie International AS
DNB Carnegie, the Nordic leader in investment banking and capital markets formed
through DNB Bank ASA's acquisition of Carnegie Holding AB, has extended its
contract for ayfie Index and is expanding its AI strategy in collaboration with
Ayfie.
The extended agreement reinforces ayfie Index as a core component of DNB
Carnegie's information infrastructure, providing secure search, retrieval and
document intelligence across the organisation's data estate. As part of the
expanded scope, DNB Carnegie and Ayfie will develop additional AI capabilities
on top of the Index foundation, including a dedicated Model Context Protocol
(MCP) implementation that enables DNB Carnegie's internal AI environment to
securely access indexed content with full authentication and access controls at
the user level.
The MCP development includes a reusable authentication and security framework
that will form the basis for further AI integrations between Ayfie's technology
and DNB Carnegie's internal systems. The solution is designed to run locally on
DNB Carnegie's secure infrastructure, ensuring that data sovereignty and access
governance are maintained throughout.
"DNB Carnegie's continued investment in ayfie Index and the expansion into
MCP-based AI integration is a strong validation of our platform's role as secure
AI infrastructure for regulated industries," said Herman Sjøberg, CEO of Ayfie.
"Financial institutions require AI solutions that combine useful technology with
strict governance over information access. Our work with DNB Carnegie
demonstrates how Ayfie enables exactly that."
The agreement strengthens Ayfie's position within the Nordic financial services
sector and supports the Company's broader strategy of delivering sovereign AI
infrastructure to enterprise and public sector customers.
