COPENHAGEN – May 27, 2026 – 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG), the Danish video
game financing and publishing company, today provides shareholders with an
update on the recently launched Invincible VS™ from Skybound Entertainment.
Co-financed and co-distributed by 5th Planet Games, the new hit tag fighting
game was featured at Combo Breaker this past weekend, where players competed for
top positions in the first major in-person fighting game tournament held since
Invincible VS launched April 30th.

Combo Breaker’s flagship event has long been a celebration of the fighting game
genre, with players from across the world converging just outside Chicago in the
United States annually for over a decade. At the 2026 event, tournament
finalists were awarded medals, trophies and prize payments, with the Invincible
VS champion securing a dominant 6-0 victory in the Grand Finale.

Invincible VS is also a highly anticipated part of the massive Evo 2026
competition taking place June 26 – 28, 2026 in Las Vegas. The Evolution
Championship Series (Evo) represents the largest and longest-running fighting
game tournaments in the world. Quarter Up will award the Invincible VS champion
at this year’s event an impressive Conquest Gauntlet Trophy, which was revealed
this past weekend on social media.

Developed by Skybound’s in-house game studio Quarter Up, Invincible VS is the
first major game set in the award-winning Invincible™ universe based on
Skybound’s acclaimed comic series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan
Ottley.

The Invincible comic has sold more than 5 million books since its debut in 2003.
The Prime Video series, which launched in 2021, has been the #1 series on the
platform at multiple points across its first four seasons, and Season 3 was the
streamer’s highest-watched season of an animated show of all time. The
critically acclaimed series streams in more than 240 countries and territories
and has consistently maintained a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 5 is
currently in production for release next year.

Since the game’s April 2026 launch, the Quarter Up team has focused on
supporting players through continued balance updates, new content, and evolving
experiences, as well as kicking off the Creator Coalition, an exclusive program
built to support and grow the Invincible VS content community. The first two DLC
characters joining the game roster this summer will include Universa and The
Immortal, with additional characters to be revealed by Quarter Up in the coming
months.

Invincible VS currently features 18 fan-favorite superheroes and villains from
the award-winning IP alongside iconic locations, visceral bloody combat and an
authentic depiction of the destruction and mayhem that captures the chaos and
heart fans of the property know and love. Physical boxed editions of Invincible
VS include a Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition, both now available at
select global retailers and comic book shops.
