Veidekke: Asphalt contract for the E6 Ranheim-Sveberg project in Trøndelag

Veidekke has signed a contract with Hæhre Entreprenør AS for asphalt paving as
part of the construction of the new E6 motorway between Ranheim in Trondheim
municipality and Sveberg in Malvik municipality. The contract is valued at
approximately NOK 180 million, excluding VAT.

The project is part of Nye Veier's development of a high standard four-lane
motorway. The new road section will have a total width of 22 meters and a speed
limit of 110 km/h, providing increased capacity, improved traffic safety, and
more efficient traffic flow in the region.

and complexity and is well suited to our expertise and capacity in the region,"
says Martin Holmqvist, Director of Veidekke Asfalt.

The contract includes the delivery and laying of asphalt along the entire
stretch, covering approximately 380,000 square meters of finished road surfaces.
This corresponds to around 175,000 tons of asphalt with varying structures
tailored to traffic load and functional requirements. New pavement will be laid
on open road sections, in the existing Væretunnelen, as well as in a new
northbound tunnel tube, in four new interchanges with associated road systems,
connections to the local road network, parking areas, service facilities, and at
control stations.

"This is an important project for the development of infrastructure in
Trøndelag. We are proud to contribute to building a future-oriented and safe
main transport artery through the region," Holmqvist concludes.

The asphalt works are already well underway and will be carried out in line with
the project schedule, with completion expected by June 2028.
