20-2026 Over 2 Million Matches Played in Invincible VS™ Open Beta; 5th Planet Games Shares Updates from Skybound Entertainment

COPENHAGEN – April 17, 2026 – 5th Planet Games A/S (OAX: 5PG), the Danish video
game financing and publishing company, today provides shareholders with the
following update about Invincible VS, the upcoming tag fighting video game
co-financed and co-distributed by 5th Planet Games.
Skybound Entertainment’s first in-house game development studio Quarter Up
hosted a global Open Beta starting on April 9th, during which players had a
chance to step into the Invincible VS arena before the game’s April 30th launch.


Skybound and Quarter Up recently revealed some of the most interesting stats
from the weekend on social media including that over 2 million matches took
place, and 368 of those matches were completed by one dedicated player alone. As
a brutal tag fighting game, Quarter Up also noted that over 12.4 million limbs
were lost in battle throughout the Open Beta.

Participants could fight as 10 of 18-launch roster characters, while
experiencing six unique arenas and three available game modes. Players and media
alike shared overall positive feedback from the experience, with Quarter Up then
extending the beta period by an extra day. Hundreds of media posted stories
about Invincible VS preceding and following Open Beta, with many content
creators streaming their experience as well. Quarter Up gathered valuable
feedback from participants on the game’s systems and gameplay, helping inform
final refinements ahead of global launch.

The Open Beta followed a highly productive period of marketing activity in March
for Invincible VS. Over the course of just four weeks the Quarter Up team
revealed 4 of 18 major characters, participated in multiple experiential events
introducing the game to Invincible fans and the fighting game community, while
sharing an abundance of compelling online content and livestreams.

Invincible VS will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on April 30,
2026. Physical boxed editions, including a Standard Edition and Collector’s
Edition, are now available for pre-order at select global retailers and comic
book shops.

distribution of physical editions across the Nordic region under its partnership
agreement with Nordisk Interactive A/S; across Eastern Europe in partnership

drawing from the acclaimed comic series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan

Season 4 debuted on Prime Video in March to a 100% perfect score on Rotten
Tomatoes. The season finale will be released on April 22, 2026, just one week
prior to Invincible VS’ launch.
