HAV Group ASA: Subsidiary chosen as NavCom supplier to wellboat

Fosnavåg, 24 March 2026 – HAV Group’s energy design and smart control systems
business has been contracted by Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted to supply its Raven
INS (integrated navigation system) and Raven JPOS (dynamic positioning system)
to a live fish carrier that is being built at the Norwegian shipyard.

For this project, HAV Group’s subsidiary will deliver a complete turnkey bridge
solution, including a fully integrated navigation system, an integrated DP
system, communication equipment, sensors, and associated operator consoles with
monitor matrix.

Engineering work will commence immediately. The main bulk of equipment
deliveries will be made in the first half of 2027. Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted is
constructing the live fish carrier for Norwegian wellboat operator North Salmon
Service.

Last year, HAV Group’s ship design business was selected as design provider for
the live fish carrier. In addition, the energy design and smart control systems
was awarded a contract to act as system integrator and deliver power and
automation systems to the vessel, which is being built for Norwegian wellboat
operator North Salmon Service.

“This is the third contract that we have been awarded by Fitjar Mekaniske
Verksted for this vessel. This shows that HAV Group’s subsidiaries are
competitive on their own as well as when they collaborate. It is also
encouraging to see that market interest in our navigation systems is picking
