Betonmast, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a contract with Ragn-Sells AS
for the construction of a new zero‑emission facility for commercial waste at
Eikhaugen in Drammen. The contract is a turnkey agreement with a value of
approximately NOK 200 million, excluding VAT.
The new facility will have a footprint of around 5,000 square metres GFA and
will include a production hall, a washing hall, garages, technical rooms, and an
administration section with offices, a canteen, and changing rooms. The project
also comprises groundwork and outdoor works, infrastructure, and stormwater
management.
“This is an important and forward‑looking project with clear environmental
ambitions. We look forward to carrying out the project in close cooperation with
Ragn-Sells and contributing with our expertise within industrial and
environmentally focused buildings,” says Peter Sandrup, CEO of Betonmast.
Project start-up is scheduled for May 2026.
