Approval of merger of Gjensidige and its wholly owned subsidiary Gjensidige Business Services AB

Reference is made to the announcement on 9 January 2026 regarding the approval
of a plan for merger between Gjensidige and its wholly owned Swedish subsidiary
Gjensidige Business Services AB (GBS). The Board of Gjensidige Forsikring ASA
has now approved the merger in accordance with the announced plan. It is
expected that the merger will be completed on or around 1 July 2026.
