Avinor AS

Avinor looks back on a year marked by improved operating results, a focus on
sustainability and innovation, and more predictable framework conditions in
dialogue with its owner.

"Overall, 2025 has positioned Avinor well to meet the future challenges of the
aviation sector," says Abraham Foss.

Avinor with improved finances and increased passenger traffic in 2025
Avinor achieved improved operating results in 2025, driven by increased airport
charges, passenger growth, higher commercial revenues, and effective cost
control. At the same time, the year was characterized by significant resources
directed towards major projects, such as the construction of two new airports,
extensive development of Tromsø and Evenes airports, long-term replacement of
systems related to air navigation services, and a comprehensive transformation
portfolio for several of our technology systems.

Airlines report higher load factors, which contribute positively to both the
economy and the environment. Avinor has long maintained a strong focus on
environmental efforts, as reflected in the establishment of a biogas plant in
Svalbard and its role as host for an international test arena for zero- and
low-emission aviation in 2025. In December 2025, Avinor's work on environmental,
social, and governance (ESG) issues was recognized with a AAA ESG rating from
MSCI. The year's activities were also characterized by an extensive project
portfolio reflecting a significant transformation agenda.

Economic Progress
The Group's operating result shows strong development, reaching NOK 2,803
million in 2025 (up from NOK 1,126 million in 2024).

Total operating income for 2025 amounted to NOK 13,912 million, reflecting an
underlying growth of 14.8 percent (adjusted for other revenues) compared to
2024. The adjustment of airport charges, effective from February 2025, generated
higher fee income, while passenger growth of 3.3 percent also contributed
positively to operating revenues.

To further support the need for stable economic development, the Ministry of
Transport has approved an adjustment of airport charges for 2026 as well. The
increase in charges will be partially offset for airlines through reduced fiscal
charges to the state. This represents a net fee increase of NOK 130 million for
the airlines, which, by comparison, would have equated to a 1.8 percent fee
increase for 2025.

– "A large portion of our costs are fixed and necessary to maintain safe and
stable operations, even under challenging weather conditions. We continuously
work to improve operational efficiency and strengthen our revenue base. Adapted
framework conditions are essential for Avinor to deliver on its public service
mandate," says CEO Abraham Foss.

Sustainability and New Technology
In the autumn of 2025, Avinor prepared for the opening of a new biogas facility
at Svalbard Airport, which became operational in January this year. The facility
enables the airport to produce its own electricity and heat using liquid biogas,
effectively providing fossil-free energy for its operations. This initiative
will reduce Avinor's total greenhouse gas emissions by up to 20 percent.

Additionally, throughout the autumn of 2025, Avinor and the Civil Aviation
Authority of Norway collaborated to establish an international test arena for
zero- and low-emission aviation in Norway.

The first test project with electric aircraft was completed on January 28, 2026.
The project has provided valuable experience in operating electric aircraft,
winter operations, and charging infrastructure.

In the autumn of 2025, Avinor also prepared the next step in the development of
remote towers (digital towers), where we are now operating what is known as
multiple operations. This means that one AFIS officer manages traffic
information for two airports. We are taking important steps forward in the
digitalization of air navigation services. These are just two elements of
Avinor's extensive technology agenda.

With increased financial stability, commercial development, a comprehensive
project portfolio, and a clear focus on sustainability and technology, Avinor is
well-positioned to meet the future challenges of the aviation sector. Through
targeted initiatives and collaboration with the industry, we continue to deliver
on our public service mandate and contribute to a more sustainable future for
Norwegian aviation.
