HAV Group: Subsidiary awarded BWTS contracts

24th February 2026 – HAV Group’s water treatment systems business has been
awarded several contracts to deliver a total of ten new ballast water treatment
systems (BWTS) to various undisclosed shipyards in Norway and internationally.
The ten BWTS systems will be delivered as both retrofits on board existing ships
and to newbuild vessels.
The vessels in question include shuttle tankers, live fish carriers and offshore
vessels. Most of the BWTS equipment deliveries will be made during 2026.
HAV Group’s subsidiary, Norwegian Greentech, will supply its compact and energy
efficient UV- and filter-based BWTS to the ten vessels. The systems will be
assembled at the company’s headquarter in Fosnavåg, Norway.
“Norwegian Greentech is experiencing a decent activity level for both retrofit
and newbuild projects, and this latest batch of contracts proves that the
company’s BWTS technology remains highly competitive,” says Gunnar Larsen, CEO
of HAV Group ASA.
