Veteran IT executive with Nordic and international experience to lead Atea
Denmark from March 2nd, 2026.
Oslo, Norway - January 26, 2026 - Atea ASA (Atea Group) today announced the
appointment of Nicolai Moresco as the new Managing Director of Atea Denmark,
effective March 2nd, 2026. Moresco will take over leadership of Atea in Denmark
from Steinar Sønsteby, who has served as interim Managing Director of Atea
Denmark since February 2025, while continuing in his role as CEO of the Atea
Group.
Nicolai Moresco is an accomplished IT industry leader with extensive executive
experience across the Nordic region and internationally. He spent over two
decades at Dell Technologies in senior roles - including as Senior Vice
President and General Manager for Western Europe and for Central & North Europe
- where he managed multi-billion-dollar businesses and large teams across
multiple countries. Most recently, Moresco served as Vice President and General
Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Electro Rent, the world's largest
test and measurement technology solutions provider, driving strategic growth
initiatives and organizational transformation.
Moresco brings deep expertise in IT infrastructure and services, with a strong
track record of leading digital transformation and building successful long-term
customer and partner relationships. His international perspective, strategic
acumen, and proven leadership will be instrumental in strengthening Atea's
position in the Danish market and supporting the company's growth across the
Nordic region.
