Saga Pure ASA - Major shareholding notifications

Øystein Stray Spetalen has today acquired 2,104,053 shares in Saga Pure ASA
(SAGA) (the "Company").

After the transaction Øystein Stray Spetalen owns 136,761,224 shares in the
Company (corresponding to 20.3 % of the shares and voting rights), crossing
above the 20 % threshold.

This disclosure is made pursuant to section 4-2 and 5-12 of the Norwegian
Securities Trading Act.
