Deep Value Driller AS – Dividend of NOK 0.25 per share declared and operational update

Oslo, 5 January 2026: Reference is made to the stock exchange notice by Deep
Value Driller AS ("DVD" or the "Company") on 4 October 2024 regarding the
updated dividend distribution policy of DVD. Reference is further made to the
board authorisation granted by DVD's annual general meeting on 6 June 2025 to
resolve and distribute dividends in line with the Company's dividend policy
based on the annual accounts for 2024.

DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION OF NOK 0.25 PER SHARE

DVD's board of directors has today resolved to distribute a dividend in the
amount of NOK 0.25 per share, in total approximately NOK 23.3 million, for
January 2026. The dividend is expected to be paid on or about 15 January 2026.
DVD notes that pursuant to the Company's loan facility, as amended 14 April
2025, the Company is required to retain an amount equal to 12 months' of
interest payments which is not available for distribution.

OPERATIONAL UPDATE

The group's 7th generation mobile offshore drilling vessel "Deep Value Driller"
(the "Drillship") left Ghana on 6 October 2025 and is expected to arrive at its
new location in Indonesia on 6 January 2026. The contract commences one nautical
mile from the well location, which is expected to occur in the next few days.

The operator has carried out several modifications and upgrades to the Drillship
during the voyage from Ghana to Indonesia, with a stop in Johor. The most
important upgrades are the installation of NOVOS and MPD systems. A new design
of the Mi-Swaco cutting handling plant has also been installed.

Overhaul of drilling equipment has been carried out in accordance with the
planned CBM program. Local Indonesian authorities, MIGAS, have attended the
Drillship to perform load testing on all cranes prior to going on contract.
