Veidekke has been contracted to build a new access road including a tunnel under
the railway and a bypass for the Swedish Transport Administration. The project
west of Linghem in Linköping is an execution contract worth approximately SEK
107 million, with expected completion in 2028.
"We are very pleased to have received our first assignment for the Swedish
Transport Administration in Östergötland. It is this type of exciting and
complex projects that we have based our focus in the region on," says Marcus
Dahlberg, project manager at Veidekke Anläggning SydMitt.
The assignment includes the construction of approximately 3.5 km of road, 600 m
of cycle path, three construction works, one of which will be constructed under
existing tracks, as well as a significant amount of drainage work. The project
will improve accessibility, increase traffic safety and enable development of
new areas in the municipality.
