Public Property Invest establishes Sustainable Financing Framework
04 Dec 2025 09:33 CET
Issuer
Public Property Invest ASA
Public Property Invest has established a Sustainable Financing Framework to
further align the company's ambitions on sustainability with its financing
setup.
The newly established framework supports the realization of the company's
sustainability agenda, covering both social and environmental aspects. PPI's
portfolio has a clear social impact and mainly consists of community service
properties with government-backed tenants. The properties house functions of
essential importance to society such as hospitals, police stations, courts,
nursing homes for elderly care, schools, preschools and other public service
properties.
"We are very pleased to have finalised our Sustainable Financing Framework.
PPI owns, manages and develops high-quality and specially adapted social
infrastructure properties that enable its tenants to fulfil their social
mandate. We believe that we have succeeded in developing a framework that will
be received as attractive among our bond investors" says Marianne Aalby, EVP
Finance.
The framework defines the investments that are eligible for green (such as
green buildings and renovation of buildings) and social financing (e.g.
essential service properties such as healthcare, elderly care homes, assisted
living service properties, schools etc.).
The framework has been developed in accordance with the International Capital
Market Association's (ICMA) Green Bond Principles (GBP), Social Bond
Principles (SBP), and Sustainability Bond Guidelines (SBG), and the Loan
Market Association (LMA) Green Loan Principles (GLP) and Social Loan
Principles (SLP). ISS-Corporate has provided an independent second party
opinion confirming the framework's alignment with the above-mentioned guidance
and ISS-Corporate's internal validation requirements.
The Sustainable Financing Framework and ISS-Corporate' second-party opinion
are available on PPI's website Public Property Invest | Funding
(https://publicproperty.no/en/investor-relations/funding).
DNB Carnegie has acted as sole Sustainable Finance Advisor on the
establishment of Public Property Invest' Sustainable Financing Framework.
