Airthings ASA appoints Ivar Kroghrud as new CEO

Oslo, Norway – Dec 2, 2025 – Airthings ASA (OSE: AIRX), the global leader in
indoor air quality solutions, today announced the appointment of Ivar Kroghrud
as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 January 2026.
Kroghrud (born 1970) brings extensive experience scaling technology and SaaS
companies.

Førre, Chair of the Board of Airthings. "Ivar has a proven track record of
building international tech companies from Norway. Airthings is on an exciting

of development towards profitability and growth and continue to solidify our
position as the market leader in indoor air quality."
On his appointment, Ivar Kroghrud said: "I am thrilled to join Airthings at such

Kroghrud brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur and technology leader.
He co-founded and served as CEO of Questback, and since departing in 2013, has
co-founded multiple software companies and served as an investor and board
member/chair for several startups and growth-stage companies, including
Admincontrol and Signicat. Kroghrud was also a partner at a venture capital
firm. He holds a BSc from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and an MSc in
Strategy from BI Norwegian Business School.
Helge Øien, who has served as the interim CEO since July, will return to his
position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Airthings ASA. The Board expresses
its sincere gratitude to Mr. Øien for his dedicated leadership during the
transition period.
