Aibel rolls out Ayfie’s AI Index– impacting 5,300 employees across three continents
02 Dec 2025 08:45 CET
Issuer
Ayfie International AS
Aibel a leading provider of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and
Installation services (EPCI), has entered into an agreement with Ayfie and
Arribatec to deploy Ayfie’s Index - an AI Search technology powered by
retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), across its entire organisation. The
rollout will directly support 5,300 employees in Norway, Thailand and Singapore,
as well as operations at Aibel’s large yards in Haugesund, Laem Chabang and Map
Ta Phut. The agreement represents a contract value of NOK 130,000 in annual
recurring revenue (ARR).
The decision follows a successful pilot project where Ayfie’s technology was
integrated with Aibel’s QualiWare management system, delivered by Arribatec.
With this step, all of Aibel’s processes, activities, regulations and
requirements will be easier to search, access and apply in daily work.
“This agreement means that thousands of colleagues across our global
organisation will have faster access to the information they need. It is an
important step to simplify work processes and strengthen efficiency,” said John
Rokstad, Vice President, Quality and Risk Management at Aibel.
Arribatec and Ayfie entered into a strategic partnership in 2024. Since then,
Ayfies AI technology has been part of Arribatec’s service offering to customers
requiring secure and efficient AI solutions. For Ayfie and Arribatec, the
agreement confirms the value of their collaboration.
“Being selected by an industry leader such as Aibel is a stamp of approval that
we are proud of. It also shows how important our partnership with our friends at
Arribatec has turned out to be”, said Herman Sjøberg, CEO of Ayfie
International.
