In October, 4.8 million passengers traveled through Avinor's airports. This
represents a 2 percent increase compared to October last year. So far this year,
traffic has grown by 3 percent.

There were 2.8 million domestic passengers in October, marking a 2 percent
increase compared to October last year. For the first ten months of the year,
the growth is 3 percent.

International traffic accounted for 1.9 million passengers in October, a 1
percent increase from October last year.

As for flight movements, 57,023 commercial flights were registered in October –
a 1 percent increase from the previous year. So far this year, there have been
534,068 flight movements, which is 2 percent more than at the same time last
year. October is traditionally a month with stable traffic, and this year's
figures confirm this with moderate growth.

– The autumn holiday contributed to steady activity, but without significant
changes compared to last year, says Gaute Skallerud Riise, Director VPof Traffic
Development at Avinor.

Transition to the Winter Season
The last weekend of October marked the start of the winter schedule, signaling
the transition to a period of lower travel activity. For the period from
November to March, Avinor expects overall growth of approximately 1 percent
compared to the same period last year. This growth is driven by international
traffic, which is expected to increase by around 3 percent, while domestic
traffic is expected to decline by nearly 1 percent.

– We see a clear trend where the number of international travelers continues to
grow, while the number of domestic travelers is softening in to the winter. This
results in an overall growth of around 10.8 percent for the winter season, says
Riise.

– The tourism industry in Eastern Norway has significant capacity during the
winter months, and incoming tourism can help smooth out seasonal fluctuations.
Close collaboration with the tourism industry, businesses, and public
authorities to boost winter tourism is an important focus area for Avinor moving
forward, Riise emphasizes.

encourage even more people to use the drone app, says Mats Gjertsen, Head of
