Oslo (Norway), November 10, 2025 - Capsol Technologies ASA today announced a
strategic cooperation agreement with Everllence (formerly MAN Energy Solutions)
to integrate compression and expansion equipment with the CapsolEoP[®] solution.
The aim is to qualify and standardize equipment packages tailored to Capsol's
carbon capture technology. This will simplify procurement for project
developers, lower costs, and shorten time from investment decision to operation.
Based on joint testing and development, the partnership will further strengthen
the attractiveness of CapsolEoP[®], which typically delivers 20-60% lower
levelized capture costs than amine-based solutions.
"Working with leading equipment providers is part of our strategy to make carbon
capture easier to buy. Within our pipeline of large carbon capture projects, for
example in biomass and cement, CapsolEoP[®] requires equipment for efficient,
high-capacity flue gas handling. By combining Everllence MAX1 axial compressors
and axial expanders with our capture technology, we will strengthen our
offering," said Cato Christiansen, Chief Technology Officer, Capsol Technologies
ASA.
Everllence brings experience from more than 25 large carbon compression projects
across power generation, chemicals, refineries, and cement. The collaboration
builds on CapsolGo[®] demonstration campaign tests and also includes joint sales
and marketing efforts.
"The combination of our axial compressor and expander portfolio with Capsol's
hot potassium-based capture technology offers a clear path to robust, energy
-efficient flue-gas handling," said Dennis Többen, Head of Product Management
Industries, Everllence. "Through this collaboration, we will generate the
qualification data, integration guidelines and design envelopes that enable
developers and EPCs to scale reliable, cost-effective carbon capture solutions."
Capsol is building an ecosystem of partners to support emitters throughout the
project lifecycle - from feasibility and demonstration to full-scale operations.
As communicated in the Q2 2025 report, several strategic partnership processes
are progressing steadily.
