Eviny Solutions, a company within AF Gruppen, has been nominated by Statnett for
a contract to expand the transformer stations in Bamble and Kvinesdal. The
agreement is a turnkey contract valued at just over NOK 100 million excluding
VAT.
The contract includes design, delivery, and construction of 420 kV switchgear
installations for both stations, as well as a high-voltage cable to the station
in Bamble.
“We are very pleased that Statnett is once again entrusting us with an important
assignment to upgrade the central power grid. We see this as a strong
recognition of our expertise and experience, and we know it is motivating for
our employees to contribute to the development of vital national
infrastructure,” says Tormod Solberg, EVP at AF Gruppen.
Design and procurement work will begin as soon as the contract is signed, while
installation is scheduled to take place in 2027.
In September, AF Gruppen completed the acquisition of 80 percent of the shares
in Eviny Solutions AS. The remaining 20 per cent of the shares in Eviny
Solutions are owned by Eviny AS. Eviny Solution will change its name to AF
Elkraft on November 14.
