Kredinor Delivers Strong Q3 Results – Improved Profitability and Efficient
Operations
• Total revenue: Q3: NOK 418 million / YTD: NOK 1,273 million
• EBITDA: Q3: NOK 187 million / YTD: NOK 560 million
• EBT: Q3: NOK 83 million / YTD: NOK 268 million
• Book value of portfolio: NOK 5,728 million
Kredinor continues its positive trajectory and delivers strong results in the
third quarter of 2025. Profit before tax reached NOK 83 million, a significant
improvement from NOK -76 million in the same period last year. This positive
development is driven by increased focus on core business, effective cost
control, and higher recovery rates.
“We are pleased with the results for the third quarter. We have strengthened our
profitability while laying a solid foundation for further growth and
development. Our owned portfolios are performing well, but we still need to
improve margins in our debt collection operations,” says CEO Rolf Eek-Johansen.
Total revenue increased by 11.3%, mainly driven by growth in income from owned
portfolios. At the same time, operating costs were reduced by 9.1% compared to
Q3 2024, due to fewer full-time equivalents, lower use of consultants, and
reduced fee expenses. Financial costs were also reduced by 6.4%, as a result of
lower interest-bearing debt.
As of Q3 2025, profit before tax stands at NOK 268 million, compared to NOK -143
million in the same period last year. Debt collection income amounted to NOK 595
million, up from NOK 562 million. Owned portfolios have been revalued by NOK 117
million so far this year, compared to NOK 29 million last year.
