TØNSBERG, Norway -- October 17, 2025 -- poLight ASA
(https://www.polight.com/home/default.aspx) (OSE: PLT) today announced that
the company has received a follow-on purchase order from an industry-leading
photonics manufacturer for stacked TLens®, used in their award winning
Miniature Two-Photon (Mini2P) Imaging System. The purchase order is valued at
NOK 2.6 million with a partial delivery worth NOK 1.3m by the end of 2025.
Mini2P is an open-source brain explorer for fast high-resolution calcium
imaging in freely moving mice developed by Kavli Institute for Systems
Neuroscience at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). TLens®
tunable optics enables fast and stable imaging of multiple interleaved planes,
as well as 3D functional imaging, providing critical insights that will
advance neurological research.
"Kavli's Mini2P delivers critical insights into neurological illnesses such as
Alzheimer's and dementia, and we have seen strong interest from many research
groups and global commercial entities who are interested in the benefits of
tunable optics for this use case," said Dr. Øyvind Isaksen, CEO of poLight
ASA. "We are honored to provide a key component of Mini2P devices and pleased
that our customer continues to see success with their system."
