NOS Nova AS
Sandnes, 09.10.2025 Horisont Energi AS ("Horisont Energi", ticker: HRGI)
announces strategy update from the company’s Board of Directors.
The newly constituted Board of Directors in Horisont Energi have concluded that
the company will continue its work to develop the company’s Gismarvik CO2
terminal in Haugaland Industrial Park in Norway.
The terminal will be the foundation of the company’s Innovation arm, where paid
studies will be conducted for CO2 emitters, terminal customers and CO2 storage
providers.
The company will further have an Engineering arm that will work on commercial
projects for external customers and its majority shareholder; the NOS Group / BR
Industrier Group.
The NOS Group, backed by the BR Industrier Group, will put major industrial
forces into motion to enable Horisont Energi AS to deliver revenue with positive
net results, targeted already in 2026, says Chairman of the Board, Olav Østhus.
A complete strategic restructuring with focus on revenue generating activities
is necessary for future success and viability of the company. We have extensive
experience with this. The Board and management will work actively towards the
end of the year to facilitate this goal and set the company up for success, he
continues.
