Horisont Energi AS – CEO transition

Sandnes, 01.10.2025 – Horisont Energi AS ("Horisont Energi", ticker: HRGI)
announces that Chief Executive Officer Leiv Kallestad will leave the company
effective October 1st , 2025.

During his tenure, Mr. Kallestad has played a central role in extending the
capital runway of the company, hence securing a sustainable financial foundation
for the company, including facilitating the entry of a new majority owner. He
has led the company through a particularly demanding period, marked by
macroeconomic headwinds affecting the pace of establishing a commercial basis
for the green transition, which has slowed down to a snails pace.

“I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to work
with a strong and dedicated team at Horisont Energi, emphasising the positive
experiences gained throughout this period with an incredible group of people
that never gave up the pursuit of making a meaningful contribution to clean
energy and accelerating the green transition. The company is now entering a new
phase, where the new owners and the new Board will set the direction for
Horisont Energi going forward.

I will act as an advisor to the board and management until the end of the year.

The Board of Directors thanks Mr. Kallestad for his significant contributions
and leadership and wishes him every success in his future endeavors. The Board
has appointed Brita Holstad, currently the CCO, to the role of CEO for the
company.
