Oslo, 11 September 2025: Telecom giant BT Group has chosen the Huddly C1 as its
video conferencing solution at their new high-tech Manchester office. The
deployment is carried out in collaboration with Lenovo. The new building will
house 2,000 employees and will become one of the company’s key locations. BT
Group has 30 million customers in the United Kingdom.
On 29 August 2025 Huddly announced that the C1 had started shipping to customers
globally and ahead of schedule.
“When our colleagues walk into a meeting room, we want them to feel that the
people on the far end are in the same room. The tools that Huddly and Lenovo
bring into our meeting rooms have given us that functionality. From day one, we
know we are giving our colleagues the best experience we can,” says Danny Ward,
AV Systems Design Manager at BT Group.
“The fact that more and more of the world’s largest technology companies are
choosing Huddly’s technology to ensure that their employees collaborate in the
best possible way is the strongest quality stamp we could ask for,” says Rósa
Stensen, CEO at Huddly.
The Huddly C1 marks the company’s first step into the videobar market, offering
a greater share of the complete meeting room experience with an integrated audio
and video solution. By combining Huddly’s expertise in AI-driven video and
audio, the C1 sets a new standard for the videobar category.
