Lier, 21 August 2025: Kid Group, a leading home and interior retailer in the
Nordics, announces its financial results for the second quarter of 2025.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE QUARTER INCLUDE:
· Revenues for the Group increased by 7.3% to MNOK 856.4, positively impacted
by the development in Kid Interior
· Gross margin decreased 0.9 percentage points to 62.3%, impacted by higher
share of freight costs due to freight rates seen throughout 2024
· OPEX increased by 13.7%, impacted by the warehouse transition combined with
significant currency effect
· EBITDA decreased by MNOK 12.4 to MNOK 189.1
· Net income impacted by non-recurring items related to warehouse transition
(approx. MNOK 9), impairment (MNOK 25.0) and disagio reported as finance cost
(MNOK 8.8)
"Kid Group delivered an all-time high revenue of MNOK 856.4 in Q2 2025,
primarily driven by strong performance in Kid Interior. Operating expenses were
impacted by the warehouse transition and significant currency effects. The new
common warehouse became operational during the quarter and represents a key
foundation for Kid Group's future expansion", says Marianne Fulford, CEO of Kid
ASA.
