Airthings announces organizational restructuring

(Oslo, Norway – 10 August 2025) Airthings ASA, a global leader in indoor air
quality monitoring solutions, today announces organizational changes as part of
its continued efforts to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and accelerate
the path to profitability.
The restructuring will result in a reduction of approximately 35% of the
Company's workforce (FTEs) from the current headcount of 102 employees as of the
end of Q2 2025. The organizational changes are expected to be completed during
2025. In 2024, Airthings reported employee benefit expenses of USD 14.7 million.
The organizational restructuring is part of Airthings' strategy to deliver its
leading indoor air quality monitors and services to its global customer base
while reducing its cost base and optimize resource allocation towards areas with
the highest return. The reorganization focuses on creating a simplified and more
efficient operating model aligned with the Company's strategic priorities and
maintaining critical capabilities in R&D, sales, marketing, and customer support
to continue serving its growing customer base.
On 14 July 2025, Airthings announced that the company, while keeping its
strategic options open, would enter a financial review process which may include
reorganization and raising capital. The company will provide more information in
due course.
