Update on Investor Processes and Progress on Commercial Activities

Sandnes, Norway, 4 August 2025 – Horisont Energi AS ("Horisont Energi" or the
"Company") provides the following update regarding its ongoing investor
processes and progress on commercial activities.

Since the last company update, there has been no significant progress in ongoing
investor dialogues. The number of potentially interested parties has also been
reduced. Despite active engagement and demonstrated interest, the Company has
not been able to secure or attract required capital or strategic partnerships
necessary to continue operations long term. Other structural alternatives have
also been pursued, without traction so far.

Furthermore, the green transition initiatives and the market for green energy
including carbon capture and storage appears to be at a standstill. The Company
is similarly experiencing limited progress in its key commercial processes. As a
result, Horisont Energi has not been able to reach the targeted milestones for
its projects.
Further details on the Company’s financial position, project status, and
strategic outlook will be presented in the half-year 2025 report, which is
planned to be published 22 August 2025.

The Company remains committed to pursuing potential remaining opportunities and
will continue to evaluate all strategic options available to extract as much
value as possible for the shareholders.
