AF Bygg Väst, a part of AF Gruppen Sweden, has been awarded the contract to
build a new multi-sports hall in Slottsskogen, Gothenburg. The contract is
valued at approximately SEK 215 million excluding VAT.
The project has been commissioned by the Sports and Associations Administration
in the City of Gothenburg and involves the construction of a five-storey sports
hall with a total area of around 6,750 square meters (GFA). The project will be
carried out as a construction contract.
“This is a significant project for the city’s sports community, and for us, it’s
a testament to the trust we’ve built in the Gothenburg region. We look forward
to continuing our positive collaboration with the City of Gothenburg,” says Bård
Frydenlund, EVP for Sweden.
Initial work started in June 2025, with completion scheduled for June 2027.
