Disclosure on large shareholding

FOYER FINANCE SA ("Foyer") (as investment of a policy issued by WEALINS SA - a
fully owned subsidiary of Foyer) has today purchased a total of 17.628.229
shares in Akastor ASA, ISIN code NO0010215684 equal to 6,43% of the outstanding
shares.

This notification is to comply with the flagging rules deadline of the Norwegian
Stock Exchange. However, the duly signed notification will be sent subsequently
by Foyer Finance.
