AF Gruppen has been awarded a collaborative contract by Statsbygg for the
construction of a new building adjacent to the police headquarters at Grønland
in Oslo. The project includes development and approximately 7,000 square metres
of new premises, connected to the existing police facilities. It will house
areas with specialised requirements as well as standard office space.
The project will be executed as a collaborative contract, in close collaboration
with Statsbygg and the police. The contract will be signed immediately after the
expiry of the standstill period, with the first collaboration phase set to begin
in August 2025. The second phase (execution) is scheduled to start in 2028. The
total contract value is estimated at NOK 400 million excluding VAT. The contract
value for phase 2 is estimated at NOK 370 million excluding VAT and will be
included in the order backlog upon any eventual contract signing for phase 2.
“AF Gruppen has solid experience with collaborative contracts in cooperation
with Statsbygg. We look forward to taking part in this important public project
and are excited to contribute our expertise in both project development and
construction,” says Eirik Wraal, EVP Construction, Energy and Environment at AF
Gruppen.
