REC Silicon - Establishment of investigative sub-committee of the board

REC Silicon ASA ("REC") announces today that the board of directors has formed
an investigative sub-committee (the "Sub-Committee") of the board.

The mandate of the Sub-Committee is, pursuant to the shareholder resolution on
a potential investigation approved by the annual general meeting on 25 June
2025, to facilitate for the investigation by exploring relevant circumstances
around the decision by the Company, as announced on 24 January 2025, to enter
into a termination agreement concerning the full-form supply agreement with
Hanwha Q Cells Georgia Inc.

The board of directors is diligently exploring all available options to create
shareholder value.
