Pryme Update: Oil Production and Outstanding Options
Rotterdam, 1 July, 2025
In the second quarter of 2025, Pryme (the “Company”) produced approximately 150
metric tons of pyrolysis oil. The exact figures will be published in the
Company’s half-year report once the production data have been fully reconciled.
Out of the total quarterly production volume, approximately 10 metric tons were
produced before the production was shut down due to a leak in the reactor on 28
April 2025. Since the start of production on 18 June, approximately 140 metric
tons of pyrolysis oil were produced. The up time of the plant has been
negatively impacted by ongoing multiple short production stops in order to
adjust various reactor seals. The issues with the seals have prevented the
Company from filling up the reactor to its full capacity, thus limiting the
production rates. The production rate, while producing, since 18 June 2025
amounted to approximately 1 metric ton of pyrolysis oil per hour. The Company
plans to issue monthly updates on production volumes.
In the private placement announced on 16 December 2024, the private placement
investors were granted 4,040,406 call options to purchase Company shares at a
price of EUR 1.485 per share. Also, the Company received put options from the
private placement investors enabling the Company to sell up to 4,040,406 Company
shares to the private placement investors at a price of EUR 1.485 per share
subject to the Company achieving certain operational milestones. The mentioned
options had a maturity date of 30 June 2025. As the Company did not meet the
operational milestones for the put options, the put options have not been
exercised and have now expired. The call options issued in conjunction with the
16 December 2024 private placement have not been exercised by the private
placement investors and thus have also expired. Consequently, there are no
outstanding options related to the 16 December 2024 private placement.
