Veidekke ASA
Veidekke will also build the second stage in the Poulssons Kvarter residential
project at Fornebu in Bærum for Fredensborg Bolig. The commission involves
building 52 apartments in a design and build contract valued at just over NOK
140 million excl. VAT.
"The good sales in the project show that the homes are well received in the
market, and we have a very good partnership with Fredensborg Bolig on the
ongoing work in the first stage of construction. We appreciate the confidence
shown in us and are looking forward to continuing our good partnership in the
second stage as well," says department head Morten Barreth with Veidekke.
The second building stage consists of the Eger residential block, which will be
seven storeys above the underground garage facility (from the first building
stage). The 52 apartments range in size from 1 bedroom apartments of 46 m2 to 3
bedroom apartments of 139 m2. Residents enjoy a number of common areas and
facilities that facilitate living quality and a good neighbourhood, and there
will be a separate car sharing service for those who wish.
"The project is progressing according to plan, and we are pleased with the work
Veidekke is doing in the first construction stage. So, it's satisfying to be
able to start the next construction stage as planned," says CEO Bjørn-Tore
Rynning Olsen of Fredensborg Bolig.
Read more about the project here (https://poulssonskvarter.no/). The contract is
included in Veidekke's order book for Q2 2025.
