Nordic Semiconductor accelerates edge AI leadership with acquisition of Neuton.AI

(Oslo, Norway – June 17, 2025) Nordic Semiconductor, the global leader in
ultra-low-power wireless connectivity solutions, today announced the acquisition
of the intellectual property and core technology assets of Neuton.AI, a pioneer
in fully automated TinyML solutions for edge devices.

The acquisition is in line with Nordic’s ambitions to enable the future of edge
AI to meet the accelerating demand for edge node intelligence. Neuton.AI’s
patented technology breakthrough lies in its fully automated platform, which
creates ML models typically under 5 KB in size – up to 10x smaller and faster
than other approaches.

transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
