Kongsberg, June 2, 2025: Kongsberg Automotive (KA) announces changes to the
company's organizational and leadership structure, aimed at enhancing business
performance, operational efficiency and accountability across the company.
Key changes include:
· Strengthening of the two business areas (BA) Drive Control Systems (DCS) and
Flow Control Systems (FCS) to include full business and P&L responsibility with
all key functions integrated. With the expanded scope of responsibility for the
BA Executive Vice President (EVP) positions, we announce the following changes:
· EVP DCS Robert Pigg has left KA effective immediately. Yassine Sahaf,
current member of DCS management team, is appointed interim EVP DCS.
· EVP FCS Eduardo Pamies has left KA effective immediately. David Berne,
current member of FCS management team, is appointed interim EVP FCS.
· KA has initiated the process of filling these positions with permanent
candidates.
· The CTO function will be integrated into the BAs. CTO Christian Amsel has
decided to leave KA effective May 31, 2025 to pursue opportunities outside KA.
· Purchasing and Sales functions will be integrated into the BAs. As a result,
CSO David Redfearn and EVP Purchasing Dzeki Mackinovski are stepping down from
their positions. They will provide support during a transition period.
· Discontinuation of Group Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence
function. Relevant responsibilities will be absorbed by the BAs. Consequently,
VP Alessandro Indelli will step down and leave KA while providing support during
a transition period.
· Group Marketing and Communications, headed by Therese S Skurdal, will be
scaled down and integrated into the CFO organization from June 2, 2025. Therese
will continue in her position as Director of Group Marketing and Communications.
· As previously announced, Erik Magelssen assumed the role of CFO on June 1,
2025, succeeding Christian Johansson who will support the transition throughout
June and then leave KA.
KA extends its gratitude to those leaving the company for their dedication and
contributions.
"As previously announced, meaningful changes are needed to strengthen KA's
performance, leadership, and culture. I am confident that these leadership and
organizational changes will drive greater accountability and ownership, improve
resource allocation, and create a more dynamic and competitive company," says
Trond Fiskum, President & CEO of KA. "Going forward, KA will have a strong focus
on building high-performing leadership teams across all areas of the
organization - teams that will drive cost efficiency, profitable growth, deliver
sustainable financial results, and create long-term value for our shareholders.
