AMSC ASA (under liquidation) - PAYMENT OF DIVIDEND-IN-KIND COMPLETED

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement by AMSC ASA (under
liquidation) (AMSC) on 6 May 2025 that the conditions for distribution of
dividend-in-kind in the form of 91,422,601 shares in Solstad Maritime ASA
(previously Solstad Maritime Holding AS) (SOMA), as resolved by AMSC's annual
general meeting on 24 April 2025, have been satisfied.

Payment of the dividend in-kind has been completed with delivery to recipients'
VPS accounts. The shares in SOMA will be tradable on Euronext Oslo Børs from the
first day of listing of SOMA, which is expected to be on 16 May 2025.

For shareholders subject to withholding tax, a portion of their shares have been
withheld and will be sold by AMSC for cash in the market to cover such tax. The
total number of SOMA shares withheld to cover the withholding tax is
approximately 3.2 million.
