MPC Energy Solutions publishes Annual Report and ESG report for 2024

Amsterdam/Oslo -- 24 April 2025 -- MPC Energy Solutions ("MPCES", "Company")
today published its Annual Report and ESG report for its financial year 2024.

Stefan H.A. Meichsner, Chief Financial Officer of MPCES, summarized the
results. "I am happy to report that, after 18 months of hard work since the
change on management level, we have created a solid foundation and starting
point for 2025. The operating results of our portfolio have increased
significantly. Overhead costs are down. We removed obligations from our
balance sheet and now have a focus on clear core markets and are more
disciplined in selecting promising development opportunities. With this
progress and basis, we expect 2025 to be a record year for our company."

MPCES ended the financial year 2024 with consolidated revenues of USD 11.6
million (2023: USD 9.1 million) and consolidated EBITDA of USD 3.8 million
(2023: negative USD 0.7 million). The net result was negative because of
significant impairment charges on certain investments and projects recognized
in 2024. The Company, which has no debt on corporate level, posted an equity
ratio of 41% on total assets of USD 123.6 million (2023: 56% on USD 123.1
million). The group's consolidated cash position at the end of 2024 was USD
12.4 million (2023: USD 20.5 million).

Along with its Annual Report, MPC Energy Solutions also published its ESG
Report 2024. "With the construction of our largest project to-date, a 66 MWp
solar PV plant in Guatemala, we have created hundreds of jobs for the local
community. Our health and safety record for our projects under construction
and in operation remains stellar. In addition, we implemented CO2 emission
reductions targets and improved our supply chain monitoring to ensure proper
conduct and governance throughout all stages of our business", commented
Meichsner. "Our team has done an outstanding job."

On Wednesday, 30 April 2025, MPCES will report its financial results for the
first quarter of 2025.
