Update on Strategy for the Continuing Business and Return of Capital

Further to the announcement on 31 March 2025, Benchmark Holdings plc
(“Benchmark”, the “Group”, or the “Company”), announces that details on the
strategy for the continuing business and return of capital are now expected to
be provided during May.

The Company is pleased to have completed the redemption of its Green Bond as
announced on 15 April, and confirms that it has recently repaid the RCF making
the Group debt free. The Company has also made substantial progress in
streamlining the Group’s corporate structure following completion of the sale of
Genetics, rightsizing the organisation for the next phase.
