- I am proud to be able to present this team. With the ambitious goals we have
set for Sparebanken Norge, it is absolutely crucial to have a strong senior
management team that sets the direction for what we will build together, says
CEO Jan Erik Kjerpeseth.
A thorough recruitment process has been carried out with support from external
advisors. The process of putting together the group management team has been
carried out in close cooperation with the CEO of Sparebanken Sør, Geir
Bergskaug, and the chairmen of the boards of Sparebanken Vest and Sparebanken
Sør.
- The new group management team has been put together in line with the framework
of the merger agreement. I am very pleased that these talented people have
agreed to lead the work of building the new bank. This is an important and
correct first chapter for Sparebanken Norge, says Kjerpeseth.
The organization of Sparebanken Norge will contribute to the bank achieving its
strategic ambitions. The group management team has a clear business focus, and a
goal of creating a national savings bank with the best digital services,
combined with personal advice and local presence.
The group management will formally take office on 2 May 2025, the same day that
Sparebanken Vest and Sparebanken Sør carry out a legal merger and form
Sparebanken Norge.

return on equity
• Customer experiences and customer satisfaction in among the best in Norway
• Among the most attractive competence environments in the Norwegian finance
