Approval of plan for merger of Gjensidige and its wholly owned subsidiary Buysure AS

Reference is made to the announcement on 1 April 2025 regarding Gjensidige
Forsikring ASA's acquisition of Buysure AS. The Board of Gjensidige has today
approved a merger plan between Gjensidige and Buysure. It is planned that the
boards of both companies will follow up on the decision regarding the merger
plan with a final resolution and a decision on the merger on or about 5 May
2025. It is expected that the merger will be completed on or around 1 July 2025.

The merger plan and related documents will be available at Gjensidige's offices
and on www.gjensidige.com.
