Oslo, March 31st, 2025 — Instabank today announced the successful launch of its
fully digital, Norwegian-designed credit card in Germany, marking a major step
in the bank’s European growth strategy. The entry into Europe’s largest banking
market positions Instabank as one of the leading Nordic challenger banks,
offering German customers a modern, transparent, and fully digital credit card
experience.
The product is built on a scalable technology platform in collaboration with
leading fintech partners, including Visa, Banking Circle, Tink, Banqsoft, and
Namirial. It offers customers a fully digital application process, high credit
limits, and competitive low interest rates.
“This launch is more than a product rollout — it’s a clear signal of
Instabank’s ambition to build a digital-first, European challenger bank rooted
in Scandinavian values,” said Robert Berg, CEO of Instabank. “We are proud to
bring a clean, simple, and trustworthy credit card product to German customers,
combining modern technology with the transparency and ease customers expect.”
The launch of Instabank’s credit card in Germany is part of the bank’s broader
strategy to expand across key Northern European markets and deliver scalable,
profitable financial solutions.
