Veidekke ASA
Veidekke ASA's annual and sustainability report for 2024 was published today.
The report includes financial and non-financial information. Despite a
challenging environment, Veidekke has delivered solid profit growth and
increased profitability. The profit per share was NOK 9.3, and the board of
directors has proposed to pay a dividend of NOK 9.0 per share.
"While 2024 gave the industry and Veidekke both challenges and opportunities, it
was nevertheless a good year for the group. With solid profit growth and
increased profitability, Veidekke has shown clearly how the group's skilled and
committed employees are able to maintain profitability even through challenging
times," says Jimmy Bengtsson, Group CEO of Veidekke.
"We have taken on 2025 from a good starting point, with a robust and balanced
portfolio of quality projects, and with risk under control. The high order book,
flexible business model, good financial position and solid balance sheet
provide a strong position from which Veidekke can exploit market opportunities
and deliver on an attractive dividend policy," says Bengtsson.
"Whether it concerns sustainability, job security or financial results: To
achieve our goals, we need committed and motivated colleagues - employees who
seek new challenges and prefer to be one step ahead in their pursuit of
solutions for the future," concludes Bengtsson.
Veidekke's annual and sustainability report 2024 is an integrated report that
covers both financial and non-financial topics, including environmental, social
and governance topics in accordance with CSRD requirements. The report provides
a comprehensive description of the group's 2024 operations, and yet describes
only a fraction of the work put into the many hundreds of projects the group
operates at any given time, by Veidekke's nearly 8,000 employees.
Veidekke's annual and sustainability report 2024 (pdf) and the company's annual
accounts in European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) are attached to the
announcement and can also be downloaded Here (https://www.veidekke.com/investor
-relations/reports-and-presentations/). In addition to meeting statutory
requirements for the annual accounts and annual and sustainability report, it
comprises information on corporate governance and shareholder information.
