Further information related to the Supreme Court hearing postponement
20 Mar 2025 15:04 CET
20 March 2025
EAM has received a number of requests for further information from shareholders
in relation to the postponement of the hearing in the Criminal Court of
Cassation from 18 March 2025 until 17 June 2025. The Company has now received
the complete explanation for the delay.
The following represents the full knowledge of EAM on the matter of the
postponement:
At the start of the hearing on 18 March 2025, the President of the section in
the Supreme Court announced a mistake on the part of the court administration.
The court had not correctly notified several civil parties of the hearing date.
These parties included the GSE, UBI Leasing, Enfo 60 and Unicredit.
These parties who were not notified and therefore not given the appropriate
opportunity to submit pleadings in relation to the 2024 Appeal Court Decision.
These parties should, however, still be given the legal right to submit such
pleadings.
The postponement until 17 June 2025 is made in relation to the Italian
procedural guidelines and the availability of the Supreme Court of Cassation.
This postponement allows the above-mentioned parties to submit pleadings to the
Court in this case, but has no other legal implications on the court process.
Due to the nature of various information requests received by the company since
notifying the market of the postponement of the hearing, EAM considers it
appropriate to host a shareholder information meeting on the general status and
possible paths forward for the Company in the near future. Details of this
information meeting will be announced at a later date.
