Rotterdam 4 March 2025,
The supervisory board of directors of Pryme N.V. ("Pryme" or the "Company")
appoints Mr. Benoît Morelle interim Chief Executive Officer of Pryme N.V.,
effective 8 March 2025.
This follows the resignation of Mrs. Marieke Bleyenbergh as interim CEO per the
same date of 8 March 2025. The supervisory board thanks Marieke for her
leadership of Pryme since 4 November 2024 and wishes her all the best in her
future endeavors.
With 15 years of international experience across the oil and gas, energy, and
software industries, Benoît Morelle brings a strong background in operations,
project management, and strategy. He has held key roles at Perenco, Virunga
Energies, and C3.AI, where he has successfully led teams across operational,
business, and functional domains. Benoît’s ability to navigate complex technical
and organizational challenges positions him well to support Pryme’s mission of
scaling up its plastic pyrolysis technology and achieving full operational
capacity at its Rotterdam plant.
Benoît holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Katholieke
Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
Henning Jensen, chairman of the supervisory board of Pryme said: “I am very
pleased to welcome Benoît to the Pryme team and am confident that his leadership
and problem-solving skills will successfully guide Pryme through the ramp-up
phase and the optimizing of the Pryme One operations. He will provide the
leadership for the Company to achieve stable production at meaningful volumes
and will be supported by Pryme’s highly skilled and motivated team. I wish
Benoît all the best in this challenging role”.
