Statement regarding the Norwegian Government’s proposals for the power market

ELMERA GROUP ASA
Today, the Norwegian Government proposed measures for reduced electricity bills
and control over power resources, of which the most relevant items for Elmera
Group are the proposal for fixed price to consumers and reduction of VAT on grid
rent:

At this stage, it is not clear how the measures are intended to function in the
market, and this will have to be clarified before a legislative proposal can be
sent to the Norwegian Parliament.
In this process, Elmera Group will cooperate with the industry and regulators in
setting up well-functioning solutions for our customers.
Furthermore, we will continue to assist and advice our customers in optimising
their energy consumption through our digital solutions and customer service. The
electricity retailers have an important role in the current power support scheme
for consumers, and we firmly believe this to be equally important for the
proposed solutions.
The potential financial impact of these proposals will depend on how the
measures are detailed and implemented and we will update the market when this
becomes clearer.
