Hafslund – Hafslund gathers power production in Sarpefossen

Hafslund has entered into an agreement with Orkla to acquire Sarpsfoss Limited.
Sarpsfoss Limited owns Borregaard power plant and 50 percent of Sarp power
plant, as well as Mossefossen power plant. The acquisition will add 536 GWh to
Hafslund’s power production.
Hafslund AS acquires 90 percent of the shares in Sarpsfossen Limited, while
Svartisen Holding AS acquires the remaining ten percent.
The transaction is subject to approval from relevant competition authorities and
the Norwegian Ministry of Energy.
